For over 16 years, the team with Umbrella Solutions support various industries with voice, data, and security projects. The owner and lead consultant of Umbrella Solutions, Kenneth Free, is a lifelong resident of New Jersey, based out of Somerset County. Ken holds a Masters in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management, a Bachelors of Science degree in Network Communications Management from DeVry University, over 300 hours of hands on lab work with Cisco routers, switches, Hyper V and virtual machines, Red Hat Linux OS, in addition to a Post Master’s Degree in Research Essentials. Ken has worked with various business types and individuals across the country offering many different technology services and solutions. It is Ken’s mission to educate and empower people to use technology for the maximum benefit and streamlined operations. Everyone should learn to use technology to lead innovation and work towards a competitive edge in the organization.

Ken had the pleasure to have worked on various projects in Aspen CO, Kingsmill VA, NJ, NY, FL, Boston MA, NV, and Dallas TX with NxTV for full, digital in-room TV, and with Bartech for digital inventory systems in e-fridges (minibars) for the hospitality sector.

Ken has almost completed his Doctorate in Management with focus on Information Systems and Technology from the University of Phoenix, estimated by the end of 2024. Continuing education has always been a passion as well as a desire to learn new things and experience different perspectives.
